This year, we hosted our Annual Opens Week from June 7th-14th.
Thank you to everyone who supported our 2026 Opens Week. We hope you all enjoyed your visit, played great golf and are looking forward to next year. Below you will see a link to the online results and the prize winners for each competition.

Sunday June 7th
First up was the Men’s 4BBB Pairs Open. Recently grown in popularity, entry came with a Full English breakfast on arrival and a generous prize table, two’s competition was also included in this price.
Monday June 8th
The popular Senior Team Open. Each year, over 150 golfers battle it out in their teams for victory. In 2026, entry included a prize table upwards of £500 and a two-course Dainton Carvery to finish. Format was a three-man bowmaker with the best two scores to count, two’s competition was also included in this price.
Tuesday June 9th
Dainton Ladies Team Open. Entry included golf with various spot prizes, finished with an impressive buffet with a selection of cold meats, salads and breads. There were numerous raffles, draws and other fundraising exercises from our Ladies. Format for the day was three-person bowmaker, with the best two scores to count, two’s competition was also included in this price.
Thursday June 11th
One of the newer Dainton Opens. It was the perfect day out. Teams of four. The entry included golf, prizes and a BBQ on the terrace afterwards. Teams could be of any combination of men or women. This was very popular with visitors and members alike, and we expect high demand again for 2027.
Saturday June 13th
A new competition gaining traction in recent years. Prizes and divisions were available for all levels of Junior Golfer. Individual entry, included prizes and food afterwards.
Sunday June 14th
To conclude the week was the Mixed Greensomes Open. Entry included a generous prize table and a two-course Dainton Carvery to finish. Two's entry was also included in this price. Once again, this proved to be the ideal Sunday for golfing partners!
