This year, we will be hosting our Annual Opens Week from June 7th-14th.
Six different competitions are available with a format to suit everyone. Why not gather a team and enjoy a day out with exceptional food, a largely reduced green fee and your fair share of challenging parkland golf?
All entries can be completed quickly and easily online.
Sunday June 7th
First up is the Men’s 4BBB Pairs Open. Recently grown in popularity after the addition of breakfast. £40pp and comes with a Full English breakfast on arrival and a generous prize table, two’s competition is also included in this price.
Monday June 8th
The popular Senior Team Open. Each year, over 150 golfers battle it out in their teams for victory. £45pp includes a prize table upwards of £500 and a two-course Dainton Carvery to finish. Format is a three-man bowmaker with the best two scores to count, two’s competition is also included in this price.
Tuesday June 9th
Dainton Ladies Team Open. £35pp includes golf with various spot prizes, finished with an impressive buffet with a selection of cold meats, salads and breads. There will also be numerous raffles, draws and other fundraising exercises from our Ladies, so be sure to bring some change. Format for the day is three-person bowmaker, with the best two scores to count, two’s competition is also included in this price.
Thursday June 11th
One of the newer Dainton Opens. It has to be the perfect day out. Teams of four. £40pp for golf, prizes and a BBQ on the terrace afterwards. Teams can be of any combination of men or women. This one will be popular with visitors and members alike, so get booked in soon.
Saturday June 13th
A new competition gaining traction in recent years. Prizes and divisions are available for all levels of Junior Golfer. Individual entry, just £20pp to include prizes and food afterwards.
Sunday June 14th
To conclude the week is the Mixed Greensomes Open. Last year, entries grew above 75 pairs. £45pp for golf, a generous prize table and a two-course Dainton Carvery to finish. Two's entry is also included in this price. The ideal Sunday for golfing partners!
