Golf Course

We’re proud to be regarded as one of the best golf courses in Devon. Our breathtaking parkland course spans 125 acres, taking in the sweeping views of South Devon’s countryside. Selected to host multiple county and PGA events, our course offers outstanding conditions for all types of tournaments and regular golfers.

At 6,400 yards off the competition tees, Dainton Park can accommodate a range of tournaments. In 2016, it was selected by the Devon County Golf Union to host the Devon Amateur Championship.

Off the yellow tees, the golf course is much more manageable for the regular golfer. At 5,772 yards it is still a test, but there are fewer carries over water and rough ground compared to the elevated back tees.

Whatever your ability, Dainton Park has a golf course to suit your game.

  Course was in excellent condition

Just upped rating to a 5 star. Played in recent Seniors Open, course was in excellent condition, greens exceptionally good. Staff welcoming and pleasant. The catering is outstanding. Looking forward to my next visit in a couple of months’ time.

One to come back to again for sure!

Even on a slightly damp Spring morning, Dainton Park offered some challenging golf amid its well manicured fairways and deceptive, almost carpet like greens. One to come back to again for sure! 5*

Greens, fairways and bunkers all excellent condition

Played this beautiful parkland course whilst visiting the area. Greens, fairways and bunkers all excellent condition and a good variety of holes. No tee mats and no temporary greens at present. Staff very friendly and informative in pro shop. We paid £30 each for 18 holes and £25 for a buggy. Will definitely play again

The greens are some of the best I have played in the southwest

What a fantastic course. Had a few spare hours whilst in the area, so decided to have nine holes. The lovely lady in the pro shop explained they don’t do nine holes(which was absolutely fine) …. Green fee played and managed 11 holes before I had to leave. The greens are some of the best I have played in the southwest (and I have played a lot) they run true and fast. Great to have level tee boxes and not one was covered in broken tees. Absolutely recommend this course to anyone who has not played it. You won’t be disappointed.. staff are fantastic and very welcoming as are the members. Keep up the great work green keeping team.. the course is looking great

Cracking golf course, nice food and great events.

My now 12 year old son started playing golf last year with the Junior academy, which led to me taking up golf. Now it's our favourite thing to do on a weekend. Everyone so friendly and welcoming. Cracking golf course, nice food and great events
