Always gets busy here, because the food is so good. We had the Sunday carvery. Plenty of choices and all delicious...It was worth the wait anyway.

Been popping up to Dainton Golf Club for quick lunch at least once a week. Really good choice of menu. Bar snacks and full carvery. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. Relaxing and in the good weather lovely terrace to sit outside and watch the golfers. Would definitely recommend. 

We visited here, for Mothers Day. Wow ! It was an excellent carvery, beautifully presented. We were a family of 7, including a new baby and our 88 year old Mum. The lovely man carving the meat, even got a friendly young lady help Mum back to our table. Food excellent, surroundings first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to book again. Thank you all.

Had another roast carvery here on Sunday - great, friendly staff despite being very very busy! And awesome food…would definitely recommend 😊

We enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch at Dainton yesterday. Service as always was excellent. One of the staff went out of her way to prepare a desert for me (as I was allergic to one of the ingredients in the desert) It was delicious and it was very kind of her. As always very impressed.

Came for a Sunday carvery with the family and it was fantastic. Wonderfully looked after by Anna. The food was excellent, between us all we had all the meats that were on offer and everyone loved their choices. Trimmings and veg were all done really well with the root veg mash especially delicious with a secret ingredient I couldn't quite place! Desserts were also to die for and very generous portions too

Consistently good food, comfortable dining room and pleasant helpful staff. Always a treat to come here. Thoroughly recommend.

We recently visited as a large group of 11 and despite being very booked when contacted they were able to accommodate us with a 2 hour slot. The restaurant itself has a beautiful chandelier and grand feel to it with views over one of the golf courses holes. The meat was a choice of 4; gammon, beef, turkey or pork and this is carved by the chef who was very friendly and welcoming. The rest of the carvery was self service. Plenty of food and very filling - we will consider revisiting in the future!

We had a Boxing Day Hot Buffet, fabulous choice, meat fish and vegetarian. Cooked beautifully hot, fresh and delicious. Good selection of desserts…included in the price! Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Went with family, my in-laws and will definitely visit again with friends. My question would be is this a one off just the season?

Heard good reviews about their Sunday lunch so gave it a try, it was well organised which sometimes carvery’s aren’t, they do 2 sessions we went at 12pm so it was all fresh and plenty there. The food was lovely and enough different vegetables for everyone, the meat was all very tender I had beef & turkey and my husband had turkey & pork. Great value for money too, could fault it. Although full we couldn’t resist afters which were also very tasty. Will definitely return.

Played in the Seniors' Open followed by a carvery lunch. I forewarned them I was vegan, but wow, did I get spoiled - amazing lunch, great variety of vegan-friendly veg, and a super chocolatey dessert. Really impressed - thanks to the friendly and helpful kitchen and waiting staff. 6 stars!

We had the most incredible Valentine's meal at Dainton Park Golf Club - it was truly out of this world from start to finish. A huge thank you to the wonderful events manager, Emma who ensured everything ran perfectly and made the evening feel so special. Front of house team Andy and Anna friendly, and professional throughout. Nothing was too much trouble,and the service was seamless all night. And what can you say about the food! Head Chef David and his team delivered an exceptional dining experience. Every course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious - you could really taste the care and creativity in every dish. The atmosphere was warm, romantic, and perfectly organised. It was an excellent night in every way and we can’t wait to return. May it keep going - we’ll certainly be back.
