If you’re keen to try your hand at golf but feel a bit nervous, join our beginner golf lessons where everyone fits right in – singles, couples and social groups alike!
Rich Woods and Andy Ferris our friendly professionals, will coach you in a relaxed and sociable environment supported by England Golf. Our Get Into Golf program is perfect for complete beginners looking for a casual yet engaging start in golf.

Due to popular demand, we're delighted to have two PGA Professionals, Andy Ferris and Richard Woods, delivering our popular Get Into Golf courses.
This winter, Andy will be hosting a range-based Get Into Golf programme, making full use of our Toptracer technology. The sessions are designed to provide a fun, friendly, and relaxed introduction to golf, helping beginners build confidence and develop the key skills needed to get started in the game.
- Tuesday 10 November ~ 6:30-7:30pm
- Thursday 12 November ~ 6:30-7:30pm
- Tuesday 12 January ~ 6:30-7:30pm
- Thursday 14 January ~ 6:30-7:30pm
Our Get into Golf in Devon courses are priced at £50 for a 5 x 1-hour sessions.
- Wear what you like!
- All equipment, driving range balls and guidance provided
- Socialise and progress with up to 9 other beginners
- Work on all aspects of the game
Play more Golf
Once you have completed the Get Into Golf Course, join Rich for 3 x 2-hour sessions out on the course for just £50.

- New 2027 dates will be released in the new year. These are hosted on the golf course so will run from April onwards when the daylight and weather has improved.
